Paper Description
This paper builds on the foundations laid down in CAEL001 and CAEL002.Learners’ abilities to use English for communicative purposes are extended and a more integrated approach is taken to developing the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Paper Structure
This paper will be taught over a 10-week block. There will be up to 12.5 hours core programme per week, taught via zoom.

Students who successfully complete the paper should be able to:

Grammar and vocabulary taught are tested within the reading, listening and speaking tests and in the writing portfolio.
Assessment Components
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.
