Assessments
How you will be assessed
Assessment is measured on the work carried out on the project, as viewed through the dissertation, although some acknowledgement will also be made of any artefacts (implementations or other) produced as part of the project activity. Success is weighed against difficulty.
As part of the Assessment process, the Department may request a demonstration of any application or artefact produced as part of the project. Similarly, the Department may request an inspection of any relevant data or source code. To support the reproducibility of research results, students are encouraged to submit relevant data and source code alongside their dissertation submission.
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.
