This paper examines pedagogical approaches to digital technology integration in learning contexts, and derives evidence-based principles underpinning effective digital pedagogies. Students learn to apply the principles from literature/sources presented in class to critique and design of digital learning experiences/resources.

This paper is fully online, with all teaching in Moodle via panopto, discussion forums and individual/group feedback. Additional resources may be shared via Twitter and the convenor is available for appointments via phone, zoom or appear.in (or in person where a student is on campus).

Students will need regular and reliable access to the Internet (preferably Broadband) and a computer, for daily access to the class where possible. It is advisable to have a backup plan for access if the primary connection/computer fails at any stage in the semester.

The paper convenor will reply to all Moodle communications within 12-24 hours during weekdays, and is an active participant in all class discussions.
