  • Develop their capacities to reflect on diverse understandings of learning and teaching via engagement with the academic literature as well as critical consideration of their own experiences
  • Enhance their knowledge of a range of influential learning theories
  • Critically consider the relationship between theory and practice in learning and teaching across contexts

Paper Structure

The paper will be taught using a blended and flipped approach, where students will work both online and face-to-face.

Each week, students will be required to prepare for the scheduled class by completing a set reading or similar learning resource. Readings, resources and guidance will be provided in Moodle for this purpose.

A single class session will be held at the Hamilton campus on Fridays. This face-to-face session will be a combined lecture/tutorial which emphasises interactive learning.
