Recognition of regional and global trends and an appreciation of industry dynamics is essential for smaller exporters expanding abroad as well as global multinational corporations, whose strategies shape industries, competition and output worldwide.

This paper is taught through in class sessions involving insights, lectures, discussion, guest speakers and presentations; as well as online sessions involving group work, Q&A; and 'live' case assignments. Students must prepare in advance for classes (see Moodle). An international study tour is planned for 2022, attendance is an integral part of the programme.
