Edit Paper Description Content

Today's managers increasingly need to be familiar with emerging digital technologies and the opportunities they provide because every business is a digital business, whether it chooses to be or not. This paper will prepare students to be at the forefront of this disruptive technological change. It will also provide them with the necessary skills to help businesses today prepare for the business environment of tomorrow.

Supply chain management is concerned with managing the processes for purchasing materials and components from suppliers and delivering goods to the customers of a business. Supply chain management is central to the success of every organisation as customer satisfaction and profitability heavily depend on the ability to make the right goods available at the right place at the right time.

This paper explores supply chain strategies and examines how e-commerce and advanced information systems enable increased supply chain competitiveness.
