The paper explores the concepts associated with pricing, functions, and institutional structures of financial markets. The paper aims to provide students with a thorough understanding of the financial environment, the role of financial institutions, security markets, derivative markets, and mortgage markets. The paper assumes active student participation in the classes. Group discussions, thinking, and reasoning are essential to achieve the objectives of the paper. Students are also advised to remain up to date with current developments in the financial markets.
