Paper Description
This paper will investigate and challenge students to explore funding and management of healthcare in Aotearoa New Zealand with some reference to other countries. This exploration will continue the BHealth emphasis on Māori and Pacific peoples and will include the public and private sectors, community level and hospital level services.
Paper Structure
Engagement in this paper falls into three broad categories.
1. Lectures
2.Tutorials.
3. Individual reading, analysis, writing and presenting.
4. Groups engagement and learning.

Assessment
This paper is 100% internally assessed. It is therefore particularly important that you submit all the assessment items. To maximise your chances of success, you need to be engaged in the paper for the entire period of the course. Please note that this 15 point paper (150 hours of learning times) is like any other university course, in that you are expected to engage in all aspects of the course in order to maximise your learning.
Assessment Components
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.
