What this paper is about

Edit What this paper is about Content

Who you are influences who you are as a leader. This paper explores how to find your unique voice and clarify your own values. You will also work on finding your 'why' (personal purpose statement) while learning how to manage your emotions (Emotional Intelligence) and grow in personal integrity. The paper uses research-based practices to prepare you to lead authentically across a wide range of activities. You will discover that leadership is everyone's business whether it involves family, education, sport, volunteer teams, or employment.

It is my hope and intention that you'll have productive fun during this class and learn material that will improve your personal life as well as give you practical skills that you can apply in a wide range of leadership contexts. The more we share and enjoy our time together, the more this will happen.

Students will complete weekly online lessons and participate in five zoom tutorials. There will also be two in person events, a Hub Day on either the 17th (Tauranga) or 19th (Hamilton) May and a Summit Day on 21st August where students meet in person on the Hamilton Campus.
