Paper Description
This highly practical paper focuses on the skills, principles and practices of developing and delivering professional speeches and presentations. Participants gain extensive practice in analysing, writing and presenting speeches across a wide range of professional purposes and contexts.

Paper Structure
After Week 1 Please Note: NO face-to-face lecture for the whole semester.
From week 2 onward: Please watch the prerecorded lectures, in your own time, before the workshop. Select 1 tutorial workshop from the 3 offered that you can attend each week.
Due to Current Climate - Please Note: NO face-to-face workshops. The student rep for the class and the tutor Ashlee have set up a Facebook page for you all to connect if you wish and share constructive feedback around your practice speeches.

Recommended textbook: Lucas, S. E. The Art of Public Speaking. McGraw-Hill (13th edition). There are several editions in the library - any can be used just make sure the chapters are in the same sequence as below for the 13th edition.
