Individuals and organisations operate in contexts that are increasingly complex and uncertain. They face issues that are global in nature and which threaten long term sustainability. To successfully meet fast changing futures, contexts and stakeholders must be addressed. New styles of leadership and management are thus required, across all sectors. This paper explores economic, social, and environmental issues that face the citizens and leaders of tomorrow, all of which are key to the sustainability of organisations and the reinvention of organisational identities.

This paper will be taught in a blended learning format to maximise learning, depending on the preferences of the students enrolled and their location. For those not wishing or able to attend face to face workshops, the course is entirely available online.

In practice, the online discussion forums (in Moodle) for both the NET and HAM versions of this course will be run together as this will increase the range of views we are able to share and respond to.

Anyone who is enrolled in the NET version is welcome to join in the Hamilton-based face to face sessions, which will be scheduled and notified well ahead of time.
