Paper Description
Ko te reo Māori anake ka kōrerohia i roto i te rūma akoako. Ko te whāinga matua o tēnei akoranga, he whakapakari i ō pūkenga ki te kōrero, ki te whakarongo, ki te pānui, ki te tuhituhi hoki. Kia oti rā anō tēnei akoranga i te tauira, ka taea e ia te whakawhitiwhiti kōrero i te nui o ngā horopaki, me te mārama anō ki ngā momo rerenga kōrero hei whakamahi. He akoranga tēnei hei whakapakari i te whakatakoto o te reo o te hunga i eke i te akoranga MAOR1112-18C(HAM), i tōna ritenga NCEA taumata tautoru rānei.
Paper Structure

Ngā Karaehe Tautoko:

Ko tā te karaehe tautoko he whakaū i ngā āhuatanga o te reo kua akona e koutou i roto i ngā karaehe matua, he whakamātau hoki i te reo ā-waha a te tauira, kia rite ai ia mō ngā aromatawai hei ngā Rāmere.

Ka āta arotakengia ngā pūkenga whakaihiihi o te tauira, arā ko ōna pūkenga whakaputa kōrero, me ōna pūkenga tuhituhi e whakatauira nei i te mōhio ki te tuitui kupu, whakapuaki whakaaro. Waihoki ko ngā pūkenga torohū o te tauira, arā ko te āhei ki te pānui, ki te whakarongo hoki ki te ia o ngā kōrero e mau anō ai te tikanga i ētehi horopaki rerekē.
Katoa ngā aromatawai o tēnei pepa: whakamātautau, kōrero ā-waha, mahi kāinga hoki, he mea whakarite mai hei arotakenga mā te tauira kia taea ai ēnei pūkenga katoa te ine, te arohaehae.
Assessment Components
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.
