Paper Description
Paper Structure
In Working with Indigenous Communities you will work independently with one of the multiple and diverse Indigenous groupings around the regions and beyond, whether that be one of your own communities, an Indigenous organisation, the University, or with an existing organised activity such as a sports team or marae/hapū/trust.
Enrollment in MAORI300 is only the first step of the process for this paper. After enrolling in the paper, there are practical steps that need to be completed prior to working with a community. For all students, the next step involves meeting with the paper convenor, WIL administrator, Student Success Coordinator, and/or the Associate Dean (Academic) to discuss the community group/organisation you would like to work with.
Learning Outcomes
