As each project is likely to be unique, different projects will have different structures.

Students who successfully complete the paper should be able to:
Assessment
The standard weightings for the various assessment items are given below. However, depending on the project, supervisors may vary the weightings and the style of assessments. But note that the learning outcomes still need to be met so that students will need to do a oral presentation and communicate outcomes of the project through a piece of written work. Deadlines for the assessment items should be by arrangement with the supervisor.
For students whose enrolment in MATHS397 is over the Trimester B period, the expectation is that the final item of assessment will be submitted by the end of Study Week (28 October in 2022).
Assessment Components
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.
