Paper Description
This paper provides an introduction to key conceptual understandings in mathematics and the significance of mathematics in everyday life.
Paper Structure
This is a 100 level paper. The expected time commitment over 12 weeks is 150 hours.
The paper is based around appreciating the significance of conceptual understanding of mathematics, and the relationship between mathematics and everyday life,

Weekly requirements:
two 2-hour workshops
4-6 hours related to course readings; preparation for in-class tasks and assessments; research for, and writing of, assignments.
Weekly participation to on-line forum discussions.
