This course is designed to develop understanding of organisational issues, how issues are created, managed and responded to in an organisational setting. It focuses on processes of issue management to build understanding of how organisational reputations and relationships can best be maintained through careful identification, monitoring, and responding to stakeholder opinions. The course also sets out best practices for avoiding and responding to organisational crises.

In the first 6 weeks of the course (from July 20 - Wed 24 August) Cheryl will facilitate an interactive 'lecture' session Wednesdays 2-4 pm. She will pre-record some traditional lecture content and readings will be available for your to read and listen to before our face-to-face time together.

In the final second 6 weeks of the course (from 12 Sept - 21 Oct) Fabrice will have a number of guest speakers during Wednesday 2-4 pm (please see schedule for details). He will pre-record lecture material before you join for the Wednesday 4-6 pm workshop time.

It is expected that you read, listen and consider the material before attending the interactive face-to-face session. The pre-recorded lecture content, p/pt slides, readings, and other materials will be uploaded on Moodle for you to access before our face-to-face session.

N.B. In the first part of the trimester (from July 20 - Wed 24 August) sessions with Cheryl are face-to-face and will be Panopto recorded and uploaded after we have completed that week's session.

In the second part of the trimester (from 12 Sept - 21 Oct) students will be able to attend the workshops on zoom if they are unable to be there in person (although face-to-face presence is preferable).
