Students complete an interdisciplinary group project on a topic of relevance to the scientific or wider community. Students should get in contact with the paper coordinator before enrolling in the paper. For this occurrence of the paper, the following Capstone Projects are available:

Spectroscopy outreach: This capstone project will involve working with high schools covering the NCEA Level 3 Chemistry Spectroscopy internal, to develop and deliver an interactive hands-on experience. To undertake this Capstone Project, students should be familiar with and be able to run the following instruments: NMR, IR, MS.

All Capstone Projects are 100% internally assessed. However, there are different internal assessment items for each Capstone Project. Please read the Supplementary Project Outline for details about the specific assessment tasks for your project. This can be found on the Moodle page for this paper.
